Secondary Behaviour Support Mentor – Alternative Provision (Sunderland)

Pay: £89 to £110 per day
Start: Immediate

You’ll support students aged 11 to 16 who benefit from short, engaging lessons and adults who won’t give up on them.

What the role includes:
• 1:1 mentoring and small-group support
• Encouraging emotional regulation and positive choices
• Using restorative practice to rebuild trust after incidents
• Supporting pupils in practical, vocational or core subjects
• Being a steady, predictable presence every single day

You’ll be a brilliant match if:
• You’ve worked in SEMH, PRU, outreach or youth services
• You build rapport quickly but respectfully
• You understand that progress looks different for every young person

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
