We are working in partnership with a secondary school based in Newham who are seeking to appoint a full-time Science Tutor as part of the National Tutoring Program, to join them after the Summer break. Applicants should be interested in providing 1-1 or tutoring for small groups at Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. It would be an ideal bonus if you can tutor up to College or Key Stage 5 level.

About the role:

Your role as a Science Tutor will mean you will be expected to deliver, plan and tailor programmes which complement ongoing classwork, learning objectives and assessments. It is essential as a Science Tutor that you build strong relationships with students and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings and feedback. Science Tutors must be flexible in their tutoring delivering face-to-face tuition whilst also being able to adapt the content, style, format of the teaching/tuition to ensure the most effective learning results amongst students.

  • Passion for Tutoring Sciecne & Student educational development

A relevant degree or experience tutoring Sciecne up to GCSE level is essential for this role. Tuition training will be provided to successful applicants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
