Protocol Education is working with a local Bristol school in employing a new technician to their team on a part time basis for two days a week. This is a mixed role as you will be the technician for the Art, Science and Engineering departments.

 

The Technician will;

- Work under the direction of the Head of Science and play a vital role in the provision of high-quality science teaching in the school
- Support teachers with setting up practical lessons in the Sciences and Art
- Maintain the equipment, construct and modifying of apparatus.
- Setup experiments and take an active part in laboratory demonstrations
- Making sure that students and staff are using machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Order resources, support in practical classes by giving technical help to pupils and ensure that the school continues to meet current health and safety standards
- Excellent organisational skills
- Determination to nurture enjoyment and success for our students and to provide excellent support for our staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
