We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Redbridge that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dedicated team.
The school offers excellent labs and a strong STEM focus, supported by a leadership team committed to staff development. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive staff community focused on academic excellence and student success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3–4
- Supporting every student to reach their full potential academically and personally
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
- Encouraging student growth across academic, creative, sporting, cultural, and personal areas
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and its extra-curricular opportunities
You’ll need:
- QTS with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry
- Proven experience in planning, delivering, and marking lessons
- Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for Science teaching
- A sound understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
- Previous experience teaching at secondary level, or a strong willingness to grow into the role
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
