We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge.

This role is suitable for an ECT or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring curiosity in young people.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)

  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons

  • Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment

  • Contribute positively to the Science department and wider school community

  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)

  • Have strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

  • Be passionate about Science and committed to high expectations

  • Be reflective, organised, and keen to develop professionally

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
