Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement a dynamic and up-to-date computer science curriculum that aligns with national standards and prepares students for future advancements in technology.
- Integrate coding, programming, and other relevant skills into the curriculum.

Classroom Instruction:
- Deliver engaging and effective computer science lessons to students
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Laboratory Management:
- Manage and organize the computer science laboratory, ensuring it is equipped with up-to-date technology.
- Instruct students on proper use of computer hardware and software.

Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress in computer science.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with them to enhance their skills.

Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate computer science concepts into cross-disciplinary projects.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student performance and achievements.

Professional Development:
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in computer science education and technology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification/license
- Proven experience teaching computer science
- Proficient in programming languages and technologies relevant to computer science education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
