About Us: we are a forward-thinking educational institution committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students. We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join our innovative faculty.

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development:

    • Develop and implement a dynamic and up-to-date computer science curriculum that aligns with national standards and prepares students for future advancements in technology.
    • Integrate coding, programming, and other relevant skills into the curriculum.
  2. Classroom Instruction:

    • Deliver engaging and effective computer science lessons to students 
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  3. Laboratory Management:

    • Manage and organize the computer science laboratory, ensuring it is equipped with up-to-date technology.
    • Instruct students on proper use of computer hardware and software.
  4. Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress in computer science.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with them to enhance their skills.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate computer science concepts into cross-disciplinary projects.
    • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student performance and achievements.
  6. Professional Development:

    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in computer science education and technology.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification/license 
  • Proven experience teaching computer science 
  • Proficient in programming languages and technologies relevant to computer science education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
