Science Teacher – Full-Time
Leeds | Starting after half term

Do you love sparking curiosity and helping students understand how the world works, from cells to circuits and everything in between? Looking for a full-time role where you can really settle in and make an impact? This could be the one.

We’re working with a welcoming and well-supported secondary school in Leeds who are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team full-time from after half term. The department is collaborative, resources are strong, and there’s a real focus on creating engaging, practical science lessons.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

  • Bringing practical work to life in a safe, supportive learning environment

  • Creating a calm, positive classroom where students feel encouraged to ask questions

  • Working closely with the science department to maintain strong progress

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

  • Confidence across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3, with a specialism welcomed

  • A reliable, enthusiastic approach and commitment to a full-time role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
