We’re working with a well-established secondary school in Gloucestershire to appoint a qualified Maths teacher for a full-time role from Monday 9th February to Friday 17th July, covering the remainder of the academic year.

This is a school with clear routines, strong leadership and a settled feel. Behaviour expectations are consistent, students feel safe and supported, and staff work together rather than in silos. The curriculum is carefully planned and taught by subject specialists, with Maths playing a central role in helping pupils build confidence and problem-solving skills.

The role will include:

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering well-structured lessons

  • Marking and assessing student work

  • Supporting pupil progress and maintaining high expectations in the classroom

  • Taking part in staff meetings and INSET days

Experience with planning and marking is preferred, as this is a full teaching role rather than short-term cover. The department is supportive and well organised, making this a good fit for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing a class through the rest of the year.

This would suit a teacher who values a calm, purposeful environment and wants to work in a school that’s focused on doing the basics well, supporting both staff and students to succeed.

If this sounds like your kind of school and your kind of role, let’s talk.
