Maths Teacher
You’ll be working in a large, well-established secondary school in Morpeth where expectations are clear, routines are embedded, and Maths is treated as a priority subject. Students understand what’s expected of them in lessons, behaviour systems are consistent across the school, and staff are supported to teach confidently and calmly.
The Maths department is structured and collaborative. Schemes of work are clear, resources are shared, and there’s a collective approach to consistency across year groups. You’ll have the space to deliver well-paced, structured lessons that build understanding over time, whether that’s supporting students who lack confidence or stretching those aiming for higher grades.
You’ll be teaching across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach Sixth Form depending on experience. Planning expectations are reasonable and proportionate, allowing you to focus on clarity, modelling and meaningful practice.
This role suits Maths teachers who value structure, enjoy seeing progress build steadily, and want to work in a school where learning time is protected.
