Daily Rate: £163–£263
Protocol Education is working with a large secondary school in Gosforth to recruit a Science Teacher for KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on specialism and experience.
The school places strong emphasis on academic excellence and practical learning within Science. The department is well resourced, with clear schemes of work and strong leadership support. The school benefits from excellent transport links across Newcastle.
Key responsibilities:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

Delivering engaging theoretical and practical lessons

Supporting GCSE and A-Level preparation where applicable

Ensuring safe and effective use of laboratory resources

Promoting curiosity, enquiry and high standards of behaviour
Ideal candidates will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification

Have a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Be confident delivering practical lessons
-
Be adaptable to short-term or longer-term placements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
