A Secondary School in Doncaster is looking for a Science Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting after Easter and lasting for up to a year. This opportunity is open to both NQTs and Experienced Teachers. The school is looking for a Teacher who will teach in Key Stages 3 and 4 across a wide ability range.

About the role:

You will be teaching Science to key stages 3 and 4 including preparing pupils for their GCSE’.s The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the UK National Curriculum. You will create innovative and imaginative lessons to increase engagement.

To be successful for this role, you will:

  • Have experience in teaching science in a UK school or educational organisation.
  • Hold qualified Teacher Status.
  • Ideally have experience of teaching a wide age range of pupils within KS3 and KS4.
  • Have previously, demonstrably improved pupils’ attainment.
  • Be able to plan lessons.
  • Be passionate about the ongoing development of children.
