Are you a Science graduate with a curious mind and a passion for helping others learn?
We’re looking for motivated graduates to join our partner schools across Newcastle as Learning Support Assistants, supporting pupils to build confidence in and out of the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your subject knowledge to inspire young people while gaining valuable experience in education. You’ll support students who need extra guidance with science concepts, practical skills, and classroom engagement – helping them discover that learning can be exciting and achievable.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups during science lessons

Helping students understand key topics and practical experiments

Encouraging curiosity, confidence, and independent learning

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
What we’re looking for:

A degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field)

A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
-
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
