Science Graduate – Classroom Support / STEM Mentor
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £90–£110
Protocol Education is recruiting a Science Graduate to support STEM learning in a secondary school in Newcastle.
This role offers valuable classroom experience for graduates considering teaching, research or education-related careers. The school values practical learning and curiosity-led teaching and is easily accessible via local transport routes.
Role responsibilities:

Supporting Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assisting with practical experiments and demonstrations

Providing 1:1 or small-group academic support

Encouraging student engagement in STEM subjects
We welcome applications from graduates who:

Hold a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline

Have a strong interest in education or youth development

Are confident supporting practical learning environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
