Science Cover Teacher – Secondary Schools Near You

Pay: £130–£150 per day for day-to-day, Paid to Scale for long-term (M1–M6)
Contract: Day-to-day and long-term available
Start date: As soon as you’re cleared to work, usually around 30 days

Looking for flexibility, variety and great daily pay without the planning load? Protocol Education are recruiting confident and proactive qualified Science Teachers (QTS required) to support secondary schools across North Somerset, in locations convenient for you.

You’ll deliver pre-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining engagement and continuity while permanent staff are absent. Working with Protocol allows you to network with local schools and find the environments where you feel most at home.

This role suits experienced teachers seeking flexibility or Science ECTs keen to build classroom confidence and long-term opportunities.

Requirements
• UK QTS
• Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
