School Support Assistant

Your role
You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour and routines. You’ll also help pupils who need extra reassurance, especially during busy lessons or transitions.
What your days will include
- Supporting learners during activities and independent tasks
- Helping teachers maintain a calm, purposeful classroom
- Encouraging pupils who need confidence or extra attention
- Preparing simple resources and supporting group work
- Building relationships with pupils and staff
What you’ll need
- Experience supporting children or young people
- A friendly, confident approach
- Good communication and reliability
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
