School First Aider – Full Time

We’re working with a welcoming school who are looking for a School First Aider to take ownership of the first aid room and provide immediate, effective care to students and staff throughout the school day.
This is a full-time position and an important role within the wider pastoral and safeguarding team.
What you’ll be doing

Running and managing the school’s first aid room

Responding promptly to first aid incidents and medical emergencies

Providing care, reassurance, and clear next steps for students

Keeping accurate records of first aid treatment and incidents

Liaising with parents, staff, and external services when required

Supporting the school’s health, safety, and wellbeing procedures
What we’re looking for

A current First Aid qualification (essential)

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting

A calm, confident, and compassionate approach

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage a busy first aid room independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
