School Administrator

£90 to £115 per day, PAYE
Full-time, long-term

We’re supporting a welcoming Northumberland secondary school that prides itself on high expectations, strong relationships, and a calm, purposeful atmosphere. They’re looking for an organised, friendly, detail-loving School Administrator who can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a school that cares about community. Staff work hard to provide a safe, supportive environment where students feel known, valued and motivated — and the admin team is at the heart of that.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing front-office duties with professionalism and warmth

  • Providing admin support to teaching, pastoral and leadership teams

  • Handling calls, emails, attendance records and daily enquiries

  • Preparing documents, letters, reports and pupil information

  • Maintaining accurate data and ensuring processes run smoothly

  • Welcoming visitors and supporting safeguarding procedures

You’ll fit in perfectly if you

  • Are organised, patient and confident juggling multiple priorities

  • Have strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

  • Enjoy supporting a busy school community where no two days feel the same

  • Have experience in admin, customer service or school office work

  • Are reliable, trustworthy and comfortable using IT systems

What you’ll get with Protocol Education

  • Weekly PAYE pay — no umbrella companies

  • Ongoing support from a friendly, local consultant

  • Access to free online CPD

  • A long-term opportunity in a values-driven, community-focused school
