Behind every great school is a brilliant admin team, and this one is no exception.

This welcoming, community-focused secondary school is looking for a proactive and organised School Administrator to join its friendly operations team. Working closely with the School Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the school running smoothly day to day, supporting staff, students and families alike.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. If you enjoy being the calm, capable person others rely on, you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting school admissions administration

  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases

  • Collecting, collating and managing key information

  • Producing, scanning and uploading documents

  • Photocopying resources and contacting parents when needed

  • Providing wider administrative support across the school

You’ll be trusted to manage your workload, with guidance and support when you need it, in a team that values collaboration and initiative.

About you

You’re approachable, organised and confident in a busy environment. You take pride in getting the details right and enjoy learning new systems and processes.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience working in a general office or administrative role

  • Confidence using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

  • Clear, professional communication with staff, parents and the wider community

  • The ability to juggle priorities with support from your line manager

  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to school life

  • Experience using SIMS is helpful but not essential

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Why join this school?

This is a school with a strong sense of purpose and community. Staff are supported, valued and encouraged to grow, and the school’s values of kindness, fairness and aspiration are lived every day, not just written on the wall.

You can expect:

  • A supportive, open and honest working culture

  • Ongoing CPD and development opportunities

  • A genuine commitment to inclusivity and diversity

  • Access to wellbeing support, including counselling services

  • Practical benefits
