Location: Dagenham | Pay: £85–£100 per day | Start: ASAP | Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact during a crucial stage of primary education?

Godwin Primary School, a well-respected and inclusive school in Dagenham (RM9 6JH), is seeking a dedicated Year 6 TA to provide targeted support in the lead-up to SATs. This is a vital role where your input will help pupils feel confident, capable, and ready to reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Work closely with the Year 6 teaching team to support SATs preparation

  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions in Maths, Reading, and SPaG

  • Help pupils build confidence, manage stress, and stay focused

  • Provide in-class support and contribute to a positive learning environment

  • Track progress and offer feedback to teaching staff and SENCO where necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally in Year 6

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and SATs expectations

  • Confident delivering academic interventions in core subjects

  • Proactive, patient, and able to adapt to individual learning needs

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
