 We are currently recruiting for a SEND support TA  with experience.

We are looking for people who:

  •  Have experience of supporting children in primary education
  •  Are friendly, approachable, pro-active and collaborative
  •  Believe in the inclusion for all and are able to implement strategies to support children with SEND
  •  Have experience in the use of visual strategies to support children with communication needs
  •  Use positive behaviour management strategies and motivate children to learn and enjoy school
  •  Have numeracy and literacy skills of a high enough standard to support up to Year 6
  •  Are able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community

Responsibilities will include:

  •  Working 1:1 to support children with additional needs (SEND)
  •  Supporting the class teacher with groups of children or individuals in the classroom
  •  Delivering intervention programmes for groups or on a 1:1 basis
  •  Working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care or medical needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
