In collaboration with a secondary school based in Hackney Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Religious Education teacher who will start in September 2023. 

The ideal candidate must be passionate about teaching Religious Education and can motivate and excite students to produce and achieve outstanding academic standards. 

The role is open to an Early Careers Teacher who can engage students in the knowledge about diversity and life.

This is a great opportunity for an ECT and an experienced Religious Education Teacher to join an institution with a supportive team with a brilliant reputation; applications are also welcomed form Newly Qualified Teachers.

In 2018, this secondary school was re-inspected by Ofsted and were judged as “Good” with many outstanding features.

Requirements of a Religious Education Teacher:


• ECT qualification or equivalent
• Clear understanding of the curriculum
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Support the use of ICT equipment
