A Secondary School in Sheffield is looking for an RE Teacher to start asap to cover a period of extended leave. This opportunity is open to both NQTs and Experienced Teachers.

This is a contract role with the school looking for someone to start asap and work through to the summer of 2023 The role may become permanent at this point. The exact timetable will depend on your level of experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • RE Teacher – with the course being Eduqas RE GCSE (and Philosophy and Ethics at A level)
  • Teaching Science across KS3 & 4 (and 5 if experienced at teaching A Level’s)
  • Undertaking marking and preparation for which time in school would be allocated
  • NQTs welcome to apply

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Outstanding practice in the classroom
  • Previous experience teaching R.E.
  • Supporting the ethos and long-term vision of the school
  • Must have a strong academic background throughout – GCSEs & A Levels
  • You must be looking to improve and be a hard-working individual
  • Ideally the school would like someone who can teach at A-Level, but those capable of teaching to GCSE level are welcome to apply.
