The role
As a Religious Education Teacher, you will:
-
Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE RS experience welcomed)

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons covering religion, ethics, and philosophy
-
Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respectful debate
-
Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
-
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
-
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
-
Work collaboratively within the Humanities faculty and wider staff team
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has experience teaching RE / RS in UK secondary schools

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management

Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding

Is reliable, adaptable, and professional

Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
