The role

A well-established secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities faculty. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities for experienced candidates.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and balanced RE lessons, encourage critical thinking, and support pupils in developing respect, understanding, and strong examination outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

The ideal candidate

  • QTS (or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching RE at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
