Protocol Education are currently working with a 3-form entry school in Westminster who are looking for a SEND TA to join them in KS2 immediately.

This is a full-time, term-time post which will run for the rest of the academic year.

This school is located on the Bakerloo line however is also easily accessible by several bus routes.

For the strongest candidate, this may lead to a permanent position at the school.

Interviews and trials are taking place immediately.

About the Role:

You will be working in KS2, predominantly supporting a child with ASD. However you may occasionally be asked to carry out general classroom TA duties.

The child you will be supporting is verbal and high functioning however would benefit from 1-1 support on a regular basis.

The child often displays challenging behaviour so a calm, empathetic and resilient character is needed.

What we need from you: 

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have experience of working with children with SEND. 

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in working with children with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
