Qualified Teaching Assistant (SEND) – Full Time

Location: South Tyneside
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

If you’re a qualified TA who loves supporting pupils with additional needs, this specialist SEND setting would be a wonderful next step. The team is warm, structured and incredibly child-centred.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning, communication and sensory needs

  • Using structured routines and visuals to help pupils feel safe

  • Adapting learning tasks to match individual strengths

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and support teams

  • Being a consistent, calming presence for pupils who rely on routine

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or higher)

  • Experience supporting SEND pupils

  • Patience, confidence and a nurturing approach

  • Someone who drives and is happy to travel around South Tyneside

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
