Qualified Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs Pathway
Location: South Tyneside
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)
This specialist provision supports pupils with communication differences, sensory needs and complex learning profiles. They’re looking for a qualified TA who can deliver confident, compassionate support.
Daily responsibilities:

Delivering structured tasks with clear routines

Helping pupils regulate emotions and manage transitions

Supporting personalised learning plans

Using visuals, sensory tools and communication aids
-
Working within a close-knit SEND team
You’ll be great if you:

Hold a recognised TA qualification

Have experience supporting complex or diverse needs
-
Stay calm and upbeat during challenging moments
-
Enjoy adapting tasks creatively for individual pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
