Qualified Teacher (Secondary Supply)

Location: North Shields
Start date: Immediate
Pay: £163 to £263 per day (PAYE only)
Contract: Day-to-day supply, short-term or ongoing cover

Ideal for teachers who enjoy the variety and balance of supply work, this role lets you focus on what you do best: supporting students in the classroom, without the additional workload of planning or marking.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using provided plans and resources.

  • Building positive relationships quickly so classes settle and engage.

  • Maintaining learning routines and clear expectations throughout each lesson.

  • Supporting pupils with questions, tasks and confidence building.

  • Ensuring classes follow the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and reporting systems.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
