Science Teacher:

A Bristol Secondary School is recruiting for a Science Teacher to work from September 2024.

This is an exciting opportunity for any Science Teacher who wishes to work in a school that strives for outstanding outcomes.

The successful Science Teacher will join a supportive and collaborative department. You will work as part of a large and successful team with access to well equipped labs.

The school is willing to consider applications from Science Teachers from all disciplines.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities

 

The successful Science teacher will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4
  • Be passionate about there subject
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and teaching methodologies

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:00 - 15:30

Salary: £153-£212 per day (dependant on experience). Equivalent to Teacher Pay scale (M1-M6)
