The Role:

Protocol Education is in search of a Qualified Music Teacher to assist a secondary school in Bristol. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement a stimulating and inclusive music curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their musical potential.
  • Organize and lead musical performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
  • Participate in school events and activities that promote the music department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Music or a related field.
  • Experience teaching music at the secondary school level is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and current educational best practices.
  • Proficiency in playing and teaching various musical instruments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Role: Music Teacher

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:00 - 15:30

Salary: £153-£212 per day (dependant on experience). Equivalent to Teacher Pay scale (M1-M6)

Location: Bristol
