Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
  • Participate in school events and activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physics or related field

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching Physics at secondary level
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Physics curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in education or Physics
  • Experience with exam preparation and assessment

Working Conditions:

  • Regular working hours, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities
  • Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
