Salary:

£31650 - £49084 Per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide events
  • Potential for leadership responsibilities such as leading departmental initiatives or mentoring other teachers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Maths
  • Experience in leading educational initiatives or projects
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching other teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
