Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students
  • Create a supportive learning environment for all students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in History or related field
  • Experience teaching history at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Degree in History or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience:

  • Teaching history at the secondary level
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of history curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Good IT skills for lesson planning and delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
