Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
  • Support students in their academic and personal development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or related field
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Health and Social Care curriculum

  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of assessment methods and techniques

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term times. It may require occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
