Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative health and social care lessons to students
  • Develop lesson plans and curriculum that meet educational standards
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and resources
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or related field
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

  • Strong understanding of health and social care principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
