Salary: £31,350 - £43,607 per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum based on educational standards
  • Manage classroom activities and maintain a conducive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or related field

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant subject

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the English curriculum and educational standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or English
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
