Job Title: Qualified English Teacher

Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to a diverse group of students
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in English or related field
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrated success in improving student achievement
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Proficient in classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education or English
- Experience with exam preparation (GCSE, A-Level)
- Additional subject specialism or extracurricular involvement
