We’re supporting a welcoming SEN school that’s looking for a calm, thoughtful and curious graduate to join their team as a Trainee Teaching Assistant. You don’t need school experience yet. What matters most is your empathy, patience and willingness to learn.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs

Working 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils regulate emotions, stay engaged and build confidence

Applying what you know from your psychology studies to understand behaviour, triggers and communication styles

Helping pupils develop routines, independence and social skills

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to keep support consistent
