Responsibilities:

  • Provide crucial support to teachers and staff in delivering outstanding educational programs and interventions tailored to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assist in the implementation of effective behavior management strategies and personalized support plans for students with a range of needs and abilities.
  • Offer individualized one-to-one or small group support to students, including tutoring and mentoring as needed.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of data to monitor student progress and evaluate the impact of interventions.
  • Participate in the organization and delivery of workshops and activities focused on promoting mental health and wellbeing among students.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues alike.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly within an educational context.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and resilience, enabling effective support for students facing challenges.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role and institution.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
