Responsibilities:

  • Provide valuable support to teachers and staff in delivering top-notch educational programs and interventions to students.
  • Assist in implementing effective behavior management strategies and individualized support plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Offer one-to-one or small group support to students, including tutoring and mentoring as necessary.
  • Aid in data collection and analysis to monitor student progress and assess the impact of interventions.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of workshops and activities focused on promoting mental health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues alike.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly within an educational context.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and resilience, enabling effective support for students facing challenges.
  • Capacity to function well both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role and institution.
