We’re on the lookout for Psychology graduates who are ready to step into a classroom and really make a difference. Think less textbooks, more “lightbulb moments.” You’ll be working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a specialist or mainstream school, supporting children with additional needs autism, ADHD, SEMH, and more.

What your day might look like:

  • Bringing calm, confidence and kindness to every challenge

Who we’re looking for:

  • People who are patient, proactive, and genuinely care

  • Bonus points if you’ve volunteered, mentored, or worked in youth settings before

Why this role?

  • It’s a brilliant stepping stone if you're considering Educational Psychology, Teaching or Therapy careers

  • Get real-world experience in schools that value your input

  • Build lasting relationships and make a genuine impact

Protocol Education offers:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE (no umbrella nonsense)

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy (hello Thrive training!)

  • Personalised support from a lovely consultant who gets to know you

  • Roles in mainstream, SEND and alternative settings

  • A referral scheme that actually rewards you
