Qualifications:

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programmes
  • Provide support to students with behavioural or emotional challenges
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualised plans
  • Monitor and record student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Psychology degree or related field
  • Valid DBS check on Update Service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to implement behavioural interventions
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in child psychology or educational psychology
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment with students who may have challenging behaviours or special educational needs. The position is part-time and temporary, requiring flexibility in working hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
