 Are you a psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in education? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students’ learning, develop your classroom management skills, and make a real difference in young people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, providing academic and emotional support.
  • Step in as a Cover Supervisor to manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, resource management, and behavior management.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a degree in Psychology (or related field).
  • Passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
