We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Hackney. Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, providing academic and emotional support.
- Step in as a Cover Supervisor to manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Assist with classroom preparation, resource management, and behavior management.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a degree in Psychology (or related field).
- Passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
