Qualifications:

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programmes
  • Provide support to students with behavioural or emotional challenges
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to support student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create individualised learning plans
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions

Required Qualifications:

  • Psychology degree or similar qualification
  • Experience working with children or young adults
  • DBS clearance on Update Service

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational or support role preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and psychology principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in an educational setting with children and young adults. Part-time hours are expected, with flexibility required to attend team meetings and support student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
