We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham that is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their vibrant Social Sciences department on a temporary basis, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in A Level Psychology and Sociology (and potentially GCSE).

Plan, prepare, and assess in line with departmental and exam board requirements.

Support students in developing critical thinking and independent learning skills.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and pastoral involvement.

Work collaboratively within a high-performing and supportive Humanities & Social Sciences faculty.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS / QTLS (or working towards it)
Has experience teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for student success
Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and strong classroom management skills
Is adaptable, professional, and eager to make a lasting impact
