We’re working with multiple welcoming primary schools in Middlesbrough who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils from Reception through to KS2. Whether you’re after short-term flexibility or a longer-term role where you can really settle in, we’ve got options to suit you.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Working alongside the class teacher to keep learning on track

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed

  • Helping create a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment

  • Adapting confidently to different school settings and routines

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children from Reception to KS2

  • A caring, patient and proactive approach

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desired)

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

  • Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning

  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
