We’re working with multiple welcoming primary schools in Middlesbrough who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils from Reception through to KS2. Whether you’re after short-term flexibility or a longer-term role where you can really settle in, we’ve got options to suit you.
The role:

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Working alongside the class teacher to keep learning on track
-
Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed
-
Helping create a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment

Adapting confidently to different school settings and routines
What we’re looking for:
-
Experience working with children from Reception to KS2
-
A caring, patient and proactive approach
-
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desired)
-
A strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
-
Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
- Holds a DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
