Job Duties:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting with the supervision of students during lessons and break times
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs
  • Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of child development and learning processes

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school environment, following the academic calendar. The working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
