Primary Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is always looking for teaching assistants to work with as a general TA or with SEN pupils one-to-one or in small groups on a temporary basis to ensure they access the full curriculum. We have several positions available for long-term positions so you will need to be able to commit for 5 days per week in schools across Newham and surrounding areas.
We are looking for:
• EAL skills and experience
• Behaviour management skills
• Experience with ASD, SpLD or Dyslexia
• Sats and exam booster experience
• One-to-one or small group tuition experience
Applications are also welcome from Graduates in Maths, Science or English (other subjects may be considered) who wish to gain in-school experience prior to undertaking teacher training for the role of Learning Support Assistant. Consideration will also be given to candidates who wish to be career LSAs.
Positions are available in the London Borough of Newham and include Part/Full time Roles; term time only and can run from Half a term up to the whole academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
