What you’ll be doing

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with daily classroom tasks
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning in Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths
• Providing 1:1 support where needed to help pupils stay engaged
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a supportive classroom environment
• Helping children build confidence, independence and strong social skills

Who we’re looking for

• Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential
• Someone proactive, reliable and confident working with children
• A clear communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Adaptable and able to think on their feet in a busy classroom
• A genuine interest in education and supporting children’s development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
