Pay scale: M1-M6

Our lovely school in Greenwich, SE28 looking for full-time Key stage 2 Teacher for one full Academic year Sep 2024- July 2025. 

Interviews are taking place Immediately.  This position is suitable for both experienced Teachers and ECT’s.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the  Key Stage 2 curriculum and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education while creating a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere. This vibrant and inclusive primary school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. Key Responsibilities:

•           Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the Key stage 2 curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.

•           Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.

•           Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.

•           Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.

•           Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

•           Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•           Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

•           Strong knowledge of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching practices.

•           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•           Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

•           Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

•           Organizational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

•           Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

•           Previous experience teaching in upper KS2 setting. 

Much informed and good experience working with technology smart classes.
